Outstanding.
Growing up, we ate hamburgers and hot dogs with beans and brown bread on Saturday night and called it "Boston Supper".
I have been eating B&M Brown Bread my whole life. For a long time I thought B&M stood for "Boston & Maine" and was a reference to the railroad.
There are a couple points of argument among my family members. I prefer the Brown Bread without raisins, some like the kind with raisins. I toast the brown bread under the broiler on a cookie sheet, some use the toaster. I think the condiment of choice for Boston Baked Beans is mustard. Two of my brothers disagree.
I can't wait to try both of these recipes. Thank you.
