Stephen, thank you for introducing us. I have known the Phiddlephaddle family for many years. I used to go to the dog track with Cornelius Phiddlephaddle, and was tutored in Greek by his cousin, Miss Emma Phiddlephaddle, who was also breeder of finches. Phineas Phiddlephaddle does owe me money. I provided him with a tonic, a tincture of brandy and bee propolis that can cure eczema, and he has yet to pay me. I’m not sure if it is because the medicine didn’t work as advertised or because Phineas is as forgetful Grover Phiddlephaddle, who forgot so many hats at McLaughlin’s Tavern that eventually the publican was forced to hire a cab to return them.
