Trump is ratings crack. I can’t stop reading about him, which feeds the beast. During the campaign I started obsessively following him on Twitter. It is really fucked up. For about two months I have done a google search on “Donald Trump” and clicked on the “news” tab. It is fucked up. I read articles from publications I know nothing about. I just want to gorge on the latest grotesquery. Almost all of it is garbage. Huffpo, Slate, AMP, MTV, etc., etc… they all pump multiple articles about whatever just happened.

The problem with all the news outlets is that they are just in it for the clicks. Where are we to get our news? I have a subscription to the NYT. Someone suggested reading the Guardian’s web site.
