When it was younger, and smaller, Medium would have rewarded you for this post. By that I mean that other writers would have been here in the comments encouraging you to do exactly what you are doing.

It’s harder now to get that kind of feedback because the platform is so big and the Bigfoots (paid professional writers) suck up a lot of the oxygen.

But here we are in the frog pond of Medium… one of the eddies far faway the mainpage… and there is some new life!

On behalf of the Medium community, and I can speak on their behalf because I am the Tribune of Medium, I want to say, “Welcome to Medium. Thank you for your post, and “keep doing what you are doing.”

I can honestly say that I enjoyed this post more than anything I read in my hated Apple News app conglomeration of publishing despair this morning and I have been up and drinking coffee for over an hour.
